Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide our services and on which you may use this website.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply when you use this website or book services from Compliant Property Certificates ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at info@compliantpropertycertificates.co.uk.
2. Our services
We provide property compliance certificates and inspections, including Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). All work is carried out by suitably accredited and qualified assessors and engineers.
3. Quotes and bookings
Prices shown on this website are guide prices. We will confirm the price for your specific property when you request a quote. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, time and price with you. You are responsible for providing accurate property details and ensuring safe access to the property at the agreed appointment time.
4. Pricing and payment
The price for your service will be the amount confirmed at the time of booking. [Add your payment terms here — for example, when payment is due and accepted payment methods.] Where payment is taken online, it may be processed securely by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your card details.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. [Add your cancellation policy here — for example, the notice period required to avoid a charge, and any fee for missed appointments or where access could not be gained.]
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about the property.
- Ensure safe and clear access to the property and to the items being inspected at the agreed time.
- Make us aware of any known hazards or access restrictions in advance.
If we are unable to complete the work because access was not available or the information provided was inaccurate, a charge may apply.
7. Certificates and results
We report the findings of our inspections objectively and in line with the relevant standards. We are not responsible for the condition of the property itself, and a certificate or report reflects the state of the property at the time of inspection. Unless separately agreed in writing, our service does not include carrying out any remedial or repair works.
8. Liability
We carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. Website use and intellectual property
The content of this website is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright. You may view and use the website for your own personal or business purposes but may not copy or reproduce its content without our permission.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to your booking.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
